Transportation
Getting to Myall Lakes National Park is easiest by car. From Sydney, take the Pacific Highway (M1) north towards Newcastle. Continue past Newcastle and take the turnoff to Hawks Nest/Tea Gardens. Follow the signs to Myall Lakes National Park. Public transport options are limited, but buses do run to Hawks Nest from Newcastle. From Hawks Nest, you can access some parts of the park, but having your own vehicle is highly recommended to explore the full extent of the park.
